O’Brien Sand and cement is a dried sand and cement product that is pre-mixed and blended. The pre-mixed ratio is approximately 3 parts sand to 1 part cement using the traditional volume method or 4 parts sand to 1 part cement using the weight method. O'Brien Post Mix 20kg Bag

O’Brien Cement Post Mix is a simple to use rapid setting concrete mix for fixing posts in the ground. It is pre-mixed and blended and contains cement, dried aggregates and admixtures. The cement used is O’Brien Cement manufactured in Ireland and conforms to I.S EN 197-1 2011.

Product Information:

1. 1. Dig a hole to required size for post, half fill the hole with water and place the post in the hole,
2. 2. Tip the pre-mixed aggregate uniformly into the hole around the post, until it is above the level of water,
3. 3. If any dry powder remains visible at this stage, add additional water until absorbed by the material,
4. 4. Adjust the post into position and support appropriately until material set occurs, which takes approximately 10 minutes.
