Thunderbolt Masonry Fixing - Priced Per Bolt

Thunderbolt™ is the original self tapping masonry anchor with the power to be used on a whole range of construction materials such as concrete, brick and stone. It is a single piece, non expansion anchor, meaning that it does not require a wall plug or resin, and therefore makes it an ideal solution for close to edge fixing applications. The threaded anchor and self tapping action allow for a safe strong anchorage, with the substrate becoming the nut to the bolt. Installation is quick and easy, making it the ideal general purpose anchor which is versatile even in a temporary situation.

Product Information:

- Drill a hole the same size as the Thunderbolt™ into the masonry, ensure the hole is a little deeper than the bolt to allow for dust

- Remove any loose debris from the hole

- Screw in the Thunderbolt™ with a suitable driver and apply a slight downward pressure to start the self tapping action

- Tighten the Thunderbolt™ to secure the fixture firmly in place

O'Brien Post Mix 20kg Bag

O’Brien Cement Post Mix is a simple to use rapid setting concrete mix for fixing posts in the ground. It is pre-mixed and blended and contains cement, dried aggregates and admixtures. The cement used is O’Brien Cement manufactured in Ireland and conforms to I.S EN 197-1 2011.

Product Information:

1. 1. Dig a hole to required size for post, half fill the hole with water and place the post in the hole,
2. 2. Tip the pre-mixed aggregate uniformly into the hole around the post, until it is above the level of water,
3. 3. If any dry powder remains visible at this stage, add additional water until absorbed by the material,
4. 4. Adjust the post into position and support appropriately until material set occurs, which takes approximately 10 minutes.
